“I am an independent filmmaker born and raised in Mexico and now based in Portland, Oregon. I began my career as an architect in Guadalajara, Mexico and later worked in New Mexico, New York, and Oregon.
Having always been a film lover, I began taking film classes at the NW Film Center and Open Signal Portland Community Media in Oregon. In 2020 I transitioned to a full-time filmmaker founding the film production company NAYO Creative Productions.
At NAYO Creative Productions I have written, produced, and directed award winning short films such as: Black & White, The Ghost of Recent Past, and Very Close Friends.
Since 2021 I have also produced and directed The Blind Kitchen – a cooking show for visually impaired people. I’m also producing a Drag Queen talk show called Lulu’s Clubhouse.
My first feature film The Subcontractors is in post-production scheduled to released later this year.”
